No problem! While you should be comfortable with basic camera settings, we teach everything else from scratch. Many successful students started with just photography experience.
You can begin with a DSLR/mirrorless camera, one lens (16-35mm preferred), and a basic gimbal. If you already have a client, consider renting your equipment for your first shoot! The best equipment at a fraction of the cost.
Not even close. Real estate videography is growing rapidly as agents realize video sells homes faster. Most markets are desperately underserved with quality videographers.
Starting rates are typically $300-500 per video. Within 6 months, many students charge $800-1,200. Luxury properties can command $2,000+. We include a pricing calculator to help you.
Yes! Once you purchase, the course is yours forever. This includes any future updates we add to keep the training current.

Hi I'm Ron, and I started out my career not in photography or videography, but in media broadcast. I got a degree in communications, and specialized in 2D & 3D motion graphics. I was working in California for Comcast Sports Network when unexpectedly, I was let go from my job. It was highly stressful. After over a decade of work with countless agencies and news stations, I was jobless. I had a wife, 4 kids, and as a husband and father the mounting pressure to be able to provide was growing. I jumped around from job to job, using my experience in promotional videos and broadcast, but nobody wanted 2D/3D graphics animations. I ended up in a job for a friend making only $10 an hour, and moonlighted as a videographer. It wasn't much, but it was enough to get me and my family by.
My first real estate video shoot was awful. I thought it would be the easiest money ever. How hard could it be to shoot an object that doesn't move, with no people to pose? Boy was I wrong! It took me years to figure out how to create beautiful Real Estate Videos that had clients calling me to shoot every listing. Looking back at this photo from my first interior shoot is embarrassing...
I was NOT going to let a house defeat me. That first job kept hiring me, and if they were going to do that, then I needed to create a product worthy of my name. I watched hours upon hours of YouTube videos. I even spent money on some photography courses that were mediocre at best. They didn't explain the step-by-step process I now use to get my interior videos looking STUNNING every time.
I spent years figuring out the secrets to color correction, lighting, composition & overall knowing what looks good (sorry to the realtors who were my guinea pigs). Eventually, I started getting called daily to shoot bigger residential homes for realtors. I was called to shoot some of the most expensive listings in the country. Multiple homes were over 8,000 square feet, some even topping out at 12,000 square feet! I got so busy, I had to turn away clients that weren't willing to pay enough for my time, because I just couldn't do all the jobs that kept coming my way.
I was doing well with residential and commercial properties, but I had yet to break into the luxury real estate arena. I wanted to push my skills, and eventually I got the chance with a local home show that asked me to created luxury walkthrough tours for the homes on display in 2020. Each home rivaled anything I had yet done, both in detail, craftsmanship, and scale. Everything I had learned up to this point needed even further refinement: color correction, workflow, effeciency on site, and finding the best shots that let the builders and designers skills and hard work shine.
These professionals spend years designing homes that impress & awe. Your videos need to do the same!
I now get hired to provide quality, mouth watering videos for incredible luxury properties, built by talented architects, builders, and interior designers.
