Navigating The Real Estate Videographer Journey

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Ron. I am the owner of multiple businesses, including Real Estate Video Professionals or REVideoPros. You may have seen my work for countless properties associated with Utah Valley Parade of Homes, Saint George Parade of Homes, and Park City Showcase of Homes, and other out of state shoots that I am commissioned for on a weekly basis. I shoot video tours for the parades and private clients, allowing the hard work of builders and interior designers to shine with the videos I create. These are some of the biggest, most beautiful homes out there, so impressive I'm in awe every time I walk into a new build. I feel it’s an incredible job and a wonderful experience to shoot these homes for realtors, homebuyers, builders, and designers.

But I didn’t always get to do this.  

In fact, I started out somewhere completely tangential to my current business: Media broadcast. 

I worked for many high end media broadcasting companies, sports teams, and others for more than a decade when life threw me a curveball and I was let go. I didn’t have the job I spent years perfecting and honing. I had a wife and 4 small kids. I was devastated. I tried to get on my feet with a couple odds and ends jobs while pushing my animation skills to potential clients on the side, but no one needed it. They needed something else. Something I needed to jump into, and fast.

Enter real estate videography. 

This blog is for you who are wondering how it is I do what I do, how to perfect your videography, editing and compositions, and ultimately to share my experience and knowledge with you so you can learn from my mistakes and hardships. I have created a masterclass course for this very purpose. I'll show you how I shoot luxury and real estate properties in a systematic, formulaic way that gets stunning results my clients love every time.
